When it comes to hack and slash action, Samurai Bringer is sure to delight with its customizable gameplay and rewarding challenge. Or, why not add a wave effect to a sweep attack for some extra oomph? The possibilities are endless and more importantly the fun is, too! For example, you can equip slice, reverse-slice, and thrust to a button then unleash a satisfying 3-hit combo. On top of equipping new gear, you can also assign collected abilities to buttons as well as attributes for those skills and even chain them one after the other. This is all handled exceptionally well on its own but things get interesting when you consider how much customization you can implement to really expand your little samurai's repertoire. At its core, you simply run, jump, dash, and attack within 3D stages in order to clear out enemies and reach the goal. Samurai Bringer is one of those games that I expected to be fun but I didn't think it would be as great as it is.
